Local, Fun Antenatal Pregnancy Yoga classes (Mums Tums)
Mondays 7.30-8.45pm (Meikleour – Perth, Scotland). All levels welcome
My pregnancy yoga classes are at my home in Meikleour – Perthshire, Scotland, which is not too far from Blairgowrie or Perth. Yoga can be a great exercise for pregnant women, the classes focuses on mothers who are 12+ weeks, generally the class is a mixture of pregnancy stages and holds a maximum of 5 ladies per pregnancy yoga class.
The class concentrates on:
- Maintaining your fitness and flexibility with slow rhythmic postures aided by cushions, blocks and blankets.
- Strengthening the pelvic floor area, toning and controlling the muscles to prepare them for the birthing experience.
- Learning different breath techniques/exercises to be used throughout pregnancy and labour.
- Practising deep relaxation and visualisation techniques.
Come along to my cosy home. It’s a relaxed environment where you will definitely leave the session refreshed and have a smile on your face!
